The Little Fur Family tells the story of how a little fur child spends his day exploring in the woods.  He meets several animals and then heads home when it gets dark to take a bath and get tucked into bed by his family.  It has that kind of quirk that only a book written in 40's could pull off and features a tactile furry fur child on the front cover.
