We're currently accepting resumes for a warm and compassionate full-time Customer Care Specialist to join the Cub Shrub team! We'll be taking our time to fill this vibrant role with a starting date in July or August 2026. 

We are also accepting resumes for Cub Shrub holiday help with full weekend availability November through December.


As a Customer Care Specialist, you'll be tasked with brightening our guests' day by showing them around the shop and learning more about their needs. We're looking for someone who brings a desire to drive sales and community through genuine interactions and active listening. If you're comfortable embracing multiple technologies for point-of-sale transactions and data entry, and have a passion for making infants and parents smile, we’d love to hear from you!


These positions require the following:

  • Knowledge of child development, ages 0-3
  • Ability to work one weekend day per week
  • Enthusiasm for Cub Shrub products and the ability to showcase this passion to customers
  • Personal style that aligns with the brand and fosters a positive shopping experience
  • Willingness to work some holidays as scheduled and the days surrounding major holidays
  • Strong desire to get to know customers, our community, and their needs to help them choose age-appropriate products and build relationships
  • Strong and effective active listening skills
  • Prioritization of tasks and working independently as needed
  • Operating our point-of-sale technology to complete transactions and research product information with efficiency
  • Remaining stationary at times and traversing the store frequently for the duration of the shift
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with customers and teammates
  • Providing a welcoming and safe environment for all guests
  • Maintaining reliability and punctuality by consistently meeting work schedule expectations
  • Demonstrating honesty and trustworthiness, taking ownership of mistakes and actively working to improve
  • Occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to access products and materials
  • Mental flexibility to pivot between tasks with short notice as priorities shift 


We offer $17-18/hour to start (commensurate with experience), a vibrant work environment, and generous benefits! Plus, our raises are based on merit rather than time served—your talents and skills will always shine bright as you grow in this role. Don't forget that one weekend day per week is required. We can offer a set schedule for full-time folks, but occasional flexibility is always a plus!
