Yeah, it's pretty fun to work at Tigertree & Cub Shrub most of the time. There is a lot of bubble wrap. Sometimes cute dogs come in. You get the picture.

Do you have the "gift of gab"? We are currently accepting resumes for a part-time or full-time Customer Care Specialist for Cub Shrub. Two Saturday shifts per month would be required.


As a Customer Care Specialist, your primary responsibilities will be getting to know our customers and helping them navigate products in our shop. The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to drive sales through genuine customer interaction and active listening, as well as be comfortable frequently using technology for point-of-sale transactions. 

 

This position requires the following:

  • Knowledge of child development for ages 0-5
  • Strong desire to spend majority of shift getting to know customers and their needs, helping them choose age-appropriate products and build relationships
  • Strong and effective active listening skills
  • Prioritization of tasks and working independently as needed (occasionally)
  • Operating our point-of-sale technology to complete transactions and research product information with efficiency
  • Remaining stationary at times and traversing the store frequently for the duration of the shift
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with customers and teammates
  • Providing a welcoming and safe environment for all guests
  • Maintaining reliability and punctuality by consistently meeting work schedule expectations
  • Demonstrating honesty and trustworthiness, taking ownership of mistakes and actively working to improve
  • Occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to access products and materials
  • Enthusiasm for Cub Shrub products and the ability to showcase this passion to customers
  • Personal style that aligns with the brand and fosters a positive shopping experience
  • Willingness to work some holidays as scheduled and the days surrounding holidays
